The play Group .BR’s to be it’s first production was The Serpent (A Serpente) by Brazil’s most known playwright, Nelson Rodrigues. It was staged at Teatro LaTea (New York) and had 5 performances, 4 of them sold out. It was the confirmation that New York craved Brazilian theater. 

 

The play was nominated to the Brazilian International Press Awards and received extensive media coverage.
